You can move notes down an octave one at a time in simple entry by using Alt+Shift and the down arrow.TEAM LinG - Live, Informative, Non-cost and Genuine ! I don't know about Notepad, but in Finale it's the Transpose function in either Mass Edit or Utilities depending on the version you have. If anybody knows how to do this, please help!! And when I just tried typing it, nothing happened. There must be a mode that I have to be in in order to use that shortcut but I just can't find it. To lower a treble clef staff (because it's women I want to lower it for) an octave, it said that the keyboard shortcut was Shift+V but I honestly have no idea how to utilize that. I searched and searched through the help contents provided by Finale Notepad, and the only thing I found was charts of Maestro Font functions and their keyboard shortcuts. I run an a cappella group, and I'm trying to lower an entire staff an octave for my lower voice parts.
